If you know your Amethyst you would know without looking at the description, due to the colors present that these are most definitely from Africa. And she has outdid herself as usual with these gorgeous beauties. We have two pairs for sale and BOTH are AS matched as the one seen.

Beautiful pair of handcrafted Natural African Amethyst Gemstone earrings. African Amethyst unlike some localities are generally darker and have a beautiful color to them containing blues, purples and other. The same may be stated for some African emeralds (Russians may also come close), though deeper greens than you might see coming out of say Colombia, African emeralds are known to be very "clean" as far as emeralds go. On the whole, most African stones we have ever come across are pretty clean. Clean as in, with less inclusion / flaws. The same may be stated for these gemstones. Very beautiful in person and not small ones. People will know you have earrings on? :)

No Special care is required.

Clean with a soft tooth brush and a mild dish detergent that do not contain bleaches (Blue Dawn recommended) and polish. You should be fine. If you need a more through cleaning, try not to touch the stones with with tarnish removers.
