Very nice colors showing in this Nephrite Jade Cabochon. It's a nice size but not an overly large pendant. Remember 25.40mm to 1 Inch, so it is close to 1 inch length by 1/2 inch wide.

Specifics
The Pendant is One Piece. The Bezel Surrounding the Stone is made with .999 Fine Silver. The rest is Solid .925 Sterling Silver with a heavy backing so it's does have some weight to it. We will add a Jump Ring to the Pendant before shipping so that you can attach a variety of Chains. You may also check out our Store as well for chains that we may sell. We suggest an oval cable chain of at least 3mm as it is a larger pendant. Smaller chains would be okay; however, smaller ones may not compliment the pendant as well.

Care
As with the most popular Jeweler's Insurance agency, Jeweler's Mutual, we recommend the same care for most stones and your jewelry. Use warm water, a soft tooth brush, and a mild dish detergent that do not contain dying or bleaching agents (Blue Dawn recommended) and then polish up. For a more through cleaning take to a qualified jeweler and disclose any known treatments etc. that your gemstones may have. If you use Tarnish Removers, try to not get it on your gemstones.

Hardness and Protection
Rated at 6-6.5 on the Moh's Level of Mineral Hardness, this gemstone is sufficiently hard; but not generally one that is suggested for everyday use; however, as it is a pendant, you should be fine wearing this everyday as it is less subject to getting damaged. Even so keep it protected.

Nephrite Pronunciation
Nephrite Pronunciation: Neph as in NEF, Ri as in Red, Te as Tee. So NefReTee.
Some pronounce it sounding much like knee fright; but the Correct pronunciation is different.
