Many beads are actually made today by dying with Howlite which comes from Southeast Asia, passing them off as "natural gemstones." Spider Web Veins which is normal for Howlite are shown in this stone. At times Howlite is dyed blue which some try to pass off as Lapis Lazuli. Other imitations can include jade products; rubies or otherwise.

Clean up with a Soft toothbrush and a mild dish detergent (Blue Dawn Recommended) and Polish Up. If you need to use Tarnish Removers, try not to get it on the gemstones.
