Conflicts of Interest with Store Policies
This Policy is part of our Store Policies which is incorporated herewith as reference. Go here for additional Store Policies.
If our store Polices are in direct conflict with this Policy, where it pertains to Logistical issues, Restocking Fees, etc., and Returns of such products, which may be, are part of this Logistics Policy, this Policy will take precedence over our Store Policies, where it relates to matters that pertain to Logistical issues for certain items that require ground, courier, and or sea transport as well as for Logistic issues where it relates to handling and shipping of Hazardous or Flammable, and other restrictive items that are being shipped to both U.S. and International destinations.
Where it comes to items of the logistical issues; for products noted by this Policy of for areas referencing it in the Product Descriptions, this Policy will be the one that will take precedence in such cases on how we deal with matters relating to Logistically problematic issues.
It should be noted that most items we sell will not have an issue; and this Policy is very limited in Scope in that case. One should always refer to the products description to see whether or not the is is the case.

1. If you clicked on a link, other than from the Home Page of our Store, then most likely this pertains to a product you are looking at.
Unless you are going to be purchasing Logistically complex products (Hazardous Materials and Machinery, some furniture items, or Larger Tools, Welders, etc), then it probably has nothing to do with your shopping enjoyment. If however you do come to a product that directs you back, then you may want to review this Policy as it pertains to the Item you are considering.
This Policy gives in-depth information about what we and customers need to know; to be on the same page when it comes to shipping of certain items. And, no one likes surprises in other words or fees which they were not first made aware of.
Keep in mind, when it come to problematic products, and unless and until we tell you otherwise; the customer is solely responsible for end-to-end Logistics fees, taxes, tariffs, etc. to ship items. See below for additional information..
In a case where the item may be difficult to complete end-to-end logistics, we will note in the product description.
We may not stock many of the noted products and our vendors , may be the ones sending them to you; who will handle the logistical aspects. Again, the Products description will give you all pertinent information where it comes to that Product. But also keep in mind the following:
Additional surcharges above-and-beyond what was paid when you checked out with that Item in a cart, for Hazardous Materials fees, or other Surcharges; may apply after such case. At times a Vendor cannot compute actual logistical costs until later. This is not uncommon.
We will contact you in order to make payment on that. We do our best with the information we have at our disposal to make dispatching of products easy for both parties to purchase and ship, but keep in mind, we cannot always determine at the time of the sale, what true Logistics or Surcharges may be until the Item is ready for shipping. Even so, we will estimate it based on similar shipments as noted below.
And so we calculate what we see as the logistical costs, but they will be, and unless first we speak to you about it, contingent on actual costs. The cost you pay when you check-out, for logistical and surcharging, may not be the final costs to you. But we will calculate what we know, when you look at the products, so that you can checkout and make payment. The faster that is done the smoother the process and the faster the process may be.
Logistics are complicated at times, as we all know, and it may include finding a proper, SAFE AND PROFESSIONAL Logistics company to ship the product. Even for the Vendor.
KEEP THIS IN MIND; FOR MOST SALES ON OUR SITE, over 95% of all cases is not going to happen but some products are problematic where logistics are concerned. Most transactions will sail through on the way to their destinations.
In more complicated cases, we may not truly know, nor our vendors, what true costs will be at the time the sale takes place. We may not know the true costs, until all logistical issues have been addressed. But we do make a Guarantee as well which in this case may be a very nice "value-added" matter.
If we are confident of the true logistical costs, then we will note in a products description, wording that may state: “The product will not incur additional Shipping Fees, or Surcharges beyond what you pay for at this time to purchase this product. You may add it to the cart if you wish to purchase the product. But keep in mind our Logistics Policy and refer to that as well prior to checking out.” The same Policy that you are reading right now.
If we give you this guarantee noted above, we will not come back later after all logistical issues are finalized and bill you for any costs we may incur.
Logistical Issues for Products leaving the United States - This includes Hazardous and other Similar Products noted in this Policy or within a Products description.
If you are not in the United States and your item is going to a location other than the United States, we will allow you to check out, contingent on final Logistical cost once they are finalized. What you pay when you check out, for such costs, versus what the true costs are, will be your responsibility. Keep in mind that additional costs may be generally incurred at border-entry points. And you will need to clear them. Our shipper will assist you; or we will but all additional costs beyond what you paid when you checked out, will always be your responsibility.
Particularly with International Logistics, It is near impossible to know true costs on larger or problematic items, which can vary greatly from region-to-country. Again, we do not really foresee issues and it would be rare.
In general, unless you are purchasing highly susceptible items or very large equipment or otherwise which we may also broker, the majority of the issues with Logistical clearing, dispatching, cross-border issues, and otherwise will be taken care of by the Shipper. In other words this Policy mostly pertains to very restrictive and hazardous matters as well as transport of Machinery.
US Based Logistical Matters – Items are not leaving the United States
For a US based logistical dispatch (the item is not leaving the United States) if a product notes there will be no Logistics Fees or other surcharges for this product beyond what we list, then we will make up the difference if there are issues.
Hazardous Materials – MSDS – Material Safety Data Sheets
For many restrictive or Hazardous Materials. items will normally come with MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) explaining the hazards of them, the medical and other treatment.
And if they do not, we will try to get them for you or give you information where you will find them nothing this in the Products description and may even post a PDF Copy of them for customers to download.
MSDS are for your protection for the product4s they pertain to. And by all means; use them safely. It only takes one wrong decision and you could pay for it with a loss of an eye, limb, or worse, Death. Remember they are considered hazardous or restrictive for a reason. And we are not responsible for the misuse or accidents that may come from using them.
International Logistics – Inability to ship to a destination - Cancellation of Orders at our Discretion
In cases where logistics create problems, such as customs related issues, in shipping an item to the Customer out of the United States, we will note in the Product description that customers who want items delivered to an international destination; cannot purchase the product. And if you have already done so, before dispatching. The following will apply.
We will cancel the product that you chose to purchase. In doing so, we will levy a time charge on the cancellation of $300.00 per completed order. You ordered and paid for the products in separate transactions.
Such fees will be deducted from any refund. Refunds will be in accordance to our General Returns Policy noted in our Store Policies which are incorporated herein as reference.
Many times a vendor we deal with will ship items to customers. In such case be aware that they may not come as part of any order that you purchased them with. In many cases they will ship separately by themselves. Do to logistical issues, many such items are not returnable and will be sold as is.
We will note that in the product if that is the case. See our Store Policies relating to Dealing with our Vendors as well as for Returns to them; and time limitations to return other products. As well as our Return payment processing Policy.
